Mongolia is located in the Northern Hemisphere temperate zone. Situated at an average altitude of 1500 m above the sea level separated from the oceans, surrounded by high mountain chains that are blocking the wet winds, Mongolia has an extreme continental climate. The winter continues long with cold temperature but summer is hot and not so long. Winter lasts from November to late April, Spring May through June. Summer continued from July through to September. The average summer temperature is +20c (+65F). Winter is -20c (-13F). The wind is 1.5-4.5m/s. The average rainfall is 200-220 mm. In Mongolia there are 250 sunny days a year, often with clear cloudless skies. Therefore Mongolia is known to the world as a country of "Blue Sky"

2013 WORLD CIRCUS IN MONGOLIA

The National Circus of Mongolia in association with "Development Center of Mongol Circus" NGO and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism is organizing the "World Circus in Mongolia" event at the ASA Circus, Ulaanbaatar between March 25 and April 07, 2013. At the attractions, over 60 circus artistes from 14 countries are invited to take part, including fabulous troupes from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Canada, China, Finland, Germany, Guatemala, Hungary, Russia, Spain, Ukraine, United State, Viet Nam and Mongolia.

”Mongolia Economic Forum 2013”

The "Mongolia Economic Forum 2013" begins today, 4th March, at the Government Palace. During the two-day forum economists, decision makers and social community representatives will hold a wide range of discussions to determine what economic barriers there are and how to solve pressing issues, and find a solution.
